Support for those who have experienced bereavement

The following organisations provide support for those who have experienced bereavement.

    • The Child Death Helpline Freephone service for anyone affected by the death of a child. The phone line is available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10am to 1pm, and Monday to Sunday 7pm to 10pm.
    • The Compassionate Friends The Compassionate Friends offers help for parents whose children have died.

    • Depression Alliance Depression Alliance is the leading UK charity for people with depression.
    • Mind Mind provides high-quality information and advice and campaigns to promote and protect good mental health for everyone.
    • Rethink Rethink works to help everyone affected by severe mental illness recover a better quality of life.
    • The Mental Health Foundation The Mental Health Foundation carries out research, campaigns and works to improve services for anyone affected by mental health problems.
